Summer Camps

Teenage Rock Camp for 12 to 16 year olds

We assume some knowledge of music from the people applying for this camp or at the very least lots of enthusiasm to learn! We cover song writing, playing together in a group,introduction to music theory,Introduction to other instrumenst and their role in a band,music equipment and we also spend the day in a recording studio recording a song the campers have written together themselves! A few days later they will all get a copy of the song they have recorded on CD. We can honestly say its fantastic fun.

• 2 Week Camp I: 26th June to 7th July. €230 9 Days Total
• 2 Week Camp II: 17th July to 28th July. €230 9 Days Total

Kids Camp for kids from 6 to 12 years olds

This camp is designed to give younger kids an introduction to music in a fun environment. We assume no knowledge and we get a mix of complete beginners and kids who already play a bit on this camp. We play musical games, introduce the kids to theory in a fun way, introduce the kids to a variety of instruments and we put on a small concert on the last day for the parents collecting the kids.The kids will perform a song they have written with the instructors!

• 1 Week Kids Camp I: 9th July to 13th July. €130 5 Days
• 1 Week Kids Camp II: 30th July to 3rd August €130 5 Days
• 1 Week Kids Camp III: 6th August to 10th August €130 5 Days

2 Week Sound Recording and Music Technology

Music Technology can be a confusing area. This camp is designed for teenagers who would like to learn how to record themselves or their bands, how to set up their equipment correctly and how to set up and control a PA system. 

• 2 Week Tech Course: 13th to the 24th of August. €230 9 Days Total

Abbey Street is the Street Behind the Post Office that runs parrallel with the Main Street. All our summer camps take place in the school.

Lesson Info

We offer lessons in Violin, Guitar, Singing, Piano, Keyboard, Drums, Bass, Ukulele and Bodhran.

We start run lessons throughout the year and you can start at anytime of the year.

Lessons in Guitar, Bass, Violin, Singing, Ukulele and Bodhran start at €100 for an 8 lesson term. (4 to 5 people in each group, 45 minute lessons)

Lessons in Keyboard, Piano and Drums Start at €130 for an 8 lesson term. (2 people with the teacher, 30 minute lessons)

Private Lessons cost €180 for an 8 lesson term(30 minute lessons)

We offer discounts to friends booking together and to families with more than one student booking in.

We prepare our Piano and Violin Students for exams with The Royal Irish Academy of Music and our Bass and Guitar Students for exams with The Registry of Guitar Tutors.

Our Teachers are of the Highest standards and we can cater for all ages, and abilitys from the beginner to the advanced player.

Our repair work on instruments is carried out to the highest standards. We can fix anything from a faulty output on an electric guitar to a broken headstock.

We also offer and have a reputation for doing excelent guitar servicing and setups. If you feel your guitar dosent play as well as it should we can make it play and sound better than it ever has.

A Standard Service and Set Up is €40 plus parts.

We have a minimun bench fee of €15 for smaller jobs like broken output jacks or restrings. A Restring is generally €15 including the strings. 

We can quote for most repairs but we do not currently offer work that requires extensive refinishing.
